Did you know that we are one month away from the start of the GastronomiX haute cuisine forum? That’s exactly how long it will be until we meet Executive chef Husameddin K. H. Bassalat, President of WICS Palestine. Known for his skills and knowledge of Palestinian cuisine and recognized worldwide for his skills in global haute cuisine, the chef will join the format, which starts on February 18 and will continue until the 21st, presenting Palestine at the eponymous format.
Within the framework of SIHRE horeca exhibition, at Inter Expo Center, GastronomiX 2025 will bring together top chefs from 6 countries, who will be unleashed within 4 days, with an emphasis on the theme “The Mediterranean – a sea of flavors”. The organizers of GastronomiX are Inter Expo Center and the Bulgarian Association of Professional Chefs. The main partner is AVA-M, and the co-organizer of “The Mediterranean – a sea of flavors” is the Guild of Professional Chefs of Greek Gastronomy, with the help of Executive Chef Stilianos Dingas

On the road to perfection
To get here, Executive Chef Husameddin K. H. Bassalat delved into the intricacies of cooking in detail. He studied culinary arts at three universities and has three different degrees in gastronomy. This makes him an excellent connoisseur of Palestinian cuisine and international haute cuisine.
