The new future for the HORECA sector

The dynamics in the sector and the market growth  – decisive indicators for arranging the first independent edition of the SIHRE exhibition after the eight-year break

New format. Enhancement of the thematic scope. And with the cause – creating the best possible conditions for the development of the HORECA sector. All this is just part of the new face of the SIHRE Expo. The Bulgarian International Forum, annually bringing the branch together, will be held for the first time independently. This will happen from 28 to 31 January 2020 at Inter Expo Center.

The campaign is already underway. “The change in the concept of the exhibition aims to focus entirely on the HORECA sector and expand the spectrum of the presented companies”, the organizers commented.

What requires the change?

The latest editions of SIHRE have confirmed the tendency of positive growth and development of the HORECA sector. The dynamism  which is typical for the branch and the increasing number of services, the appearance of new market niches, as well as the lightning-fast deployment of last generation technologies require the creation of a much broader business platform than the existing one so far. In addition, the latest edition in 2018 registered more than 30% increase of the participating companies.

All these prerequisites led to the need for SIHRE to be conducted independently. A clear indication of the need for a new format is also the exclusive interest of companies from Bulgaria and abroad, as well as of the public in the restaurant, hotel, tourist and SPA business.

The exhibition will be held in four of the exhibition halls of Inter Expo Center. Two of the halls are booked by the companies with a main business  in the professional kitchen equipment and utensils, and  the other two – equipment for hotels and restaurants, SPA and fitness, interior design solutions. Of course, companies will present both innovative products and software products of the latest generation.

GastronomiX and BOCUSE D’OR

An accompanying program on the highest level. This was the opinion of the visitors from Bulgaria and abroad in 2018, who had the chance to see both the presented technological innovations and the live demonstrations. The intension is for the accompanying program of SIHRE 2020 to build on the standards reached to the highest global level.

The halls of the International Forum will host the culinary event GastronomiX. Famous visiting chefs will take part in it, conquering the minds of the visitors. The exhibition will be also the arena of the national qualification for the most prestigious competition for young chefs Bocuse d’Or.

The Hotel Forum

During the days of the exhibition a professional event will be held  addressing the up-to-date topics in the hotel industry. The Forum will bring together owners and managers of large hotel chains, and of smaller hotels – both for tourism and business oriented.

New format. A different face. Four exhibition halls and over 10 000 sq. m. of exhibition area. This will be the spirit of the International exhibition SIHRE 2020. From 28 to 31 January the event will build a professional platform of the HORECA sector, allowing the companies to meet their partners and prospectivecustomers.
