Young chefs get together at the National qualification Bocuse d’Or, hotel and restaurant managers – at a digital workshop

The second day of the Horeca exhibition SIHRE 2020 offers many products and a wide-ranging accompanying program

Young chefs who do their best. Professional lecturers who will explain the capabilities of digital marketing. Also chefs who share their knowledge. All these will be offered to us by the accompanying program of the Horeca exhibition SIHRE, which is to be held from January 31st at Inter Expo Center.

The today’s forum under the motto “Back to the future” will put a strong focus on the young chefs and their skills. They will cross swords during the national qualification for the most prestigious competition for young chefs Bocuse d’Or. The competition is held as part of GastronomiX 2020 within SIHRE.

Reducing waste and trying to minimize them up to zero waste is a trend this year. “The jury will take this into account in the final assessment”, noted from the Bulgarian Chefs Association. After a short briefing in the morning, Bocuse d’Or Bulgaria will continue with its effective part. At the end of the day awarding of the best competitors is expected.

Business and digital environment

The digital environment is among the highlights of the accompanying program. It is also the major focus of the “Digital seminar for hotel and restaurant managers”. The event will outline the most common SEO errors on the hotels and restaurants websites and the correct online communication with customers and Facebook chatbots, etc.

The lecturers Georgi Stefanov, Nikolay Yorgov, Blagoy Nikushev, Milan Stoykovich and Konstantin Zankov will let us know more about the reputation management on the internet and attracting foreign partners.

Professionals reveal their culinary secrets

The day will be busy and full of a variety of lectures, demonstrations and presentations. On the main stage in Hall 1 Chef Yuri Velev will reveal the secret of Italian cheeses and the dishes from milk-fed veal. The Chefs Club Sofia, including Viktor Zhechev, Velizar Malinov and Yordan Kasabov will present the new tastes, rediscovered in the traditions.

The theory of flours Italmil, bread making and Pizzarella will be demonstrated to visitors by the professionals from Morello Forni. We will also see the innovative hot refrigerator EVEREO.
