The Domaine Boyar wine company has witnessed and participated in the vicissitudes of Bulgarian life in the new era since 1991, when it was founded. By the standards of Bulgaria, it is a giant – the production of the Sinite skali cellar in Sliven reaches 5,500,000 bottles, the processing capacity is 16 million liters, and the labels of its own and imported wines together are close to 250! Over the years, Domaine Boyar has become an important school for many of the Bulgarian winemakers who later went their own way.

In terms of original design, capacity and equipment, Blue Rocks carries rather the character and philosophy of the New Wine World. The Blue Rocks winery’s own wines are a rich palette of levels and styles – from fresh table wines to elite and boutique series – among them are some of the most highly rated red wines in our country, which have become iconic wines. Of course, we must mention with great respect the names of Kapka and Rosen Georgievi, the winery’s senior oenologists, who with top-class professionalism and unerring taste and sense, supported by their experienced team, build on the cellar’s results, vintage after vintage .

In 2021, on the occasion of the company’s 30th anniversary, the art of our world-famous graffiti artist Stanislav Trifonov-Nassimo changed the industrial look of the Blue Rocks cellar. His large-scale project Jar turned eleven of the giant vinifiers under the open sky into a masterfully created art composition with deep messages. It is part of a complete wine tourism project, which also includes a tasting complex with an elegant hall and a beautifully designed outdoor space for guests, as well as the wines from the limited series Art in a Bottle, whose labels depict elements of the work Zhar.
