A story about dairy products from near and far

The next nearly 4500 symbols we dedicate to specific domestic and foreign tastes, which will be at the epicenter of the exhibition The World of Milk

History shows that it all began 8500 years ago ... According to the accounts, around 6500 BC mankind began to consume milk from domestic animals. Since then, milk and dairy products have spread so vastly that they are consumed everywhere, and every corner of the world has its own unique product.

In search of specific and innovative Bulgarian and foreign proposals, the professionals in the sector will visit the international exhibition The World of Milk. This year, from 7 to 10 November, at Inter Expo Center, the event will provide for the 15th time an opportunity for bringing together professionals and the general public looking for end-products, raw materials, specialized machinery and laboratory equipment, refrigeration equipment and specialized software.

Flavors from near and far...

This year our native dairy products, making famous Bulgaria all over the world, will engage the attention of the audience. The companies will present traditional yogurt. The products have undergone a process of lactic acid fermentation, activated by a starter, containing isolated Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. This guarantees an end-product with a characteristic, traditional taste, aroma and texture. As a platform for ideas and innovations, the audience will be introduced to the new market for our acidophilic milk made from pasteurized fresh milk, made with Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria. For adaptation to our native taste, Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus are added to the traditional bacteria.

Of course, the guests will also touch the magic of Bulgarian tastes in traditional Bulgarian brine cheeses and yellow cheeses. And as the development of the sector is extremely dynamic, participants into the World of Milk event, coming from Bulgaria and abroad, will present numerous innovative developments based on traditional techniques and various modern tastes. The Association of Milk Processors in Bulgaria is also part of the exhibition.

Dairy products from Italy. They have exceptional taste qualities and bear the spirit of the Apennines. Yes; they will also be presented to the public. Because among this year’s participants there will be the Association of buffalo breeders in Campania. They combine state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques with traditional methods, preserving hand wrapping and shaping, thus keeping the freshness and original flavor. Since the 1970s, members of the cooperative have produced buffalo milk mozzarella, ricotta, butter, as well as buffalo milk burrata and caciotta ; and of course - traditional Italian cheeses.

Uncompromising quality

To create a quality product, it is of utmost importance to maintain high quality by strictly observing the pre-set requirements. That's why visitors to the World of Milk 2018 will review a variety of high-tech capabilities for automated analysis. "The advantage of modern technologies is that they are compact, easy to carry, their maintenance is done remotely, and the software update is automatic," comment the experts. Specialized laboratory equipment will be presented for the creation of quality products.

Among the product proposals, visitors will also find solutions to improve hygiene engineering. Diverse processing methods will be presented for milk producers. They will see with their eyes modular dairies built in our country. Various solutions of machines and equipment for enterprises in the dairy industry will be presented to the attention of the visitors.

Organized by Inter Expo Center and the Association of Milk Processors in Bulgaria, the World of Milk Exhibition will be held in parallel with the international forums for the food and horeca sectors - Meatmania, Bulpek, Salon de Vin, Interfood & Drink and SIHRE. Taking over all six exhibition halls and the full congress halls capacity of Inter Expo Center, there will participate more than 500 exhibitors from Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, UK, USA, Greece, Romania, the Republic of Macedonia, Thailand, the Netherlands. A total of 162 will be the participants who will join the event with their own stands for the first time.

Undoubtedly – during all the editions so far, the exhibition World of Milk has become a leading professional platform for the sector. That is why specialists and the general public engaged in the dairy industry will come together from 7 to 10 November at Inter Expo Center.
